Abstract: Based on a close examination of Gary Snyder's translation manuscript of Han Shan's poetry, the information obtained fromBerkeley Library in the University of California and Snyder's own expressions in different situations, as well as a comparison of Snyder's handwritten Chinese traditional characters with those printed in other versions of Han Shan poetry collections, this paper confirms that the book Song Da Zi Ben Hanshan Shi Ji. Yonghe Ben Sa Tianxi Yi Shi published by the Tokyo Minyusha in 1905, with preface by Takezawa Sei, postscript by Yu Quyuan, and edited by Shimada Kan, is the source text for Snyder's translation of Han Shan's poems. The manuscript also reveals that Snyder makes changes to his translations by referring to other books. These findings shed new light on previous conclusions and help solve some translation mysteries associated with Snyder's translation of Han Shan poems.

摘要： 从斯奈德译寒山诗手稿所直接记载的底本信息,结合加州大学伯克利校区图书馆的馆藏、斯奈德本人在不同场合的相关表述以及手稿中誊写的封面、《寒山传记》和寒山诗原文与其他版本相对照,本文确定1905年东京民友社出版的竹添井井序、俞曲园跋、岛田翰校的《宋大字本寒山诗集 永和本萨天锡逸诗》是斯奈德译寒山诗的底本。手稿中的修改痕迹也证明斯奈德虽以此为底本,但非一成不变。这一考证纠正了现有研究的某些结论,可解部分翻译之谜。
