Abstract: After a brief discussion of the basic terms “medium” and “intermediality” as used in intermediality studies, the essay gives an overview over general extra- and intracompositional forms of intermediality with special emphasis on music-literature relations (transmediality, intermedial transposition, plurimediality, intermedial reference). The typology is illustrated with some examples taken from English and German literatures and Western classical music; in the interpretation of the examples the functions of intermediality are also given due attention.

摘要: 在简要讨论了跨媒介研究中所使用的基本术语“媒介”(medium)和“跨媒介性”(intermediality)之后,本文概述了跨媒介性的外部的和内部的种种构成形式,并特别强调了音乐-文学间的关系(超媒介性,跨媒介转换,多媒介性,跨媒介指涉)。用来说明这一类型学研究方法的例证,选自英语、德语文学以及西方古典音乐;在对这些例子的阐释中,跨媒介性的功能也得到了充分的重视。
