Abstract: Ever since Gary Snyder's publishing 24 Cold Mountain poems in translation in 1958, relevant researches have become increasingly heated. However, some scholars, ignoring the exploration on Snyder's source edition or editions, often conduct comparative studies by randomly adopting Chinese versions based on their own judgments. This will probably bring flawed or biased conclusion. Starting from two possible versions put forward by professor Chung Ling, this article explores Snyder's own descriptions and relevant library catalogues, and then makes a detailed textual comparison between three Chinese versions of Cold Mountain poems and finally proves that Snyder takes Collections of Cold Mountain Poems published by Shinbi Shoin in Tokyo, 1928, as an important master copy. This one is different from the two editions professor Chung Ling's speculated. Therefore, this result can, to a certain extent, solve some mysteries in Snyder's translation and correct some errors in the existing research. In addition, it also has reference significance for future studies.

摘要： 自1958年加里·斯奈德发表24首寒山诗译文以来,相关研究就一直热度不减。然而,部分学者们往往仅凭借主观判断,随意采用中文底本进行对比研究,却忽略了对斯奈德翻译所用底本的考证这一重要问题,造成结论或存在瑕疵,或有失偏颇。本文从钟玲教授推测的2个底本入手,结合斯奈德本人的相关描述和图书馆藏信息,对3个可能的中文底本做了详细的文本对比考证,证明了1928年日本东京审美书院出版的宋刻影本《寒山诗集》为斯奈德英译寒山诗时使用过的重要底本,它与钟玲教授推测的2个底本均有所不同。这一考证,可在一定程度上解决斯奈德译本中的一些未解之谜,并匡正现有研究之讹误;对于今后的相关研究,也有一定的参考和借鉴意义。
