Abstract: In the first 20 years of the 21st century, the literary exchanges between China and Russia gradually increased, and the literary relations have shown a good momentum. With the increase of national support for academic research, the number of achievements exceeds that of any previous period. Although there are not many high-quality achievements, many of them show pioneering consciousness and innovative spirit. The outstanding achievements lie in the study of modern literary theory, literary trends of thought, classical writers, literary relations, and important literary phenomena. Meanwhile, the translation and introduction of Russian literature still provided important ideological resources for the development of Chinese literature and culture. Translators and scholars are the most important group in Russia and Soviet literature studies in China. A group of scholars with solid foundation are going into their harvest period, and a group of young scholars with active theoretical thinking become the main force of research. In spite of the changes of times, there are still many writers in the Chinese literary circle who have written in their works the spiritual connection with Russian and Soviet writers and their works.
