Abstract: “Leo Tolstoy Studies” has become a specialized discipline in China. Against the backdrop of twenty-first-century Chinese society and with the developmental context of the discipline as the main thread, this paper surveys the historical facts surrounding the rise and fall of “Tolstoy Studies” in contempory China. It then examines related theoretical issues, such as how to view the opportunities and challenges facing “Tolstoy Studies” in early twenty-first-century China; how to evaluate the rapid proliferation of journal papers on “Tolstoy Studies”, the value of interdisciplinary research by writers and critics; and how disciplinary construction can promote the emergence of new forces in “Tolstoy Studies.”

摘要： “列夫·托尔斯泰学”在中国已经成为一门专门的学科。本文以21世纪的中国社会为背景,以学科的发展脉络为主线,梳理“托学”在新世纪中国潮起潮落的相关史实,探讨相关的理论问题,如怎样看待新世纪初期中国“托学”的机遇与挑战、如何评价数量骤增的期刊“托学”论文、作家批评家的跨界研究价值何在、学科建设如何促进“托学”新兴力量的出现等。
