Abstract: The English translation of Chinese ethnic minority literature in the new era has been primarily organized and implemented by such CFLPA-affiliated (China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration) publishing houses as the Foreign Languages Press and the Chinese Literature Press, within the framework of ethnic theoretical discourse. Current research on the topic is limited and mainly focuses on the assessment of translation quality. However, little attention has been paid to the profound impact of China's ethnic theoretical discourse on the state-funded translation of Chinese ethnic minority literature, particularly in light of inter-cultural communication. This paper aims to analyze the preliminary norms for the state-funded translation of Chinese ethnic minority literature in the perspective of China's ethnic theoretical discourse. Specifically, it examines three aspects: the preliminary norms, Chinese ethnic theoretical discourse and the state-funded translation of Chinese ethnic minority literature, and the selection of works to be translated. By doing so, the author further explores the cultural and ideological motivations and objectives, and seeks to reveal the interactive relationship between China's ethnic theoretical discourse and the state-funded translation of Chinese ethnic minority literature.

摘要： 新时期中国少数民族文学的对外翻译主要是在民族理论话语视域下,由外文局下属外文出版社、中国文学出版社等出版机构组织与实施。目前有关中国少数民族文学外译方面的研究成果较少,且均集中于对翻译质量的评述,还没有从跨文化交流的层面论及新时期中国民族理论话语对少数民族文学外译实践所产生的深远影响。本文以中国民族理论话语视角,从翻译的预备规范、新时期中国民族理论话语与少数民族文学外译以及中国少数民族文学外译作品的择取等三个方面,分析新时期中国少数民族文学外译的预备规范,并进一步探讨其背后的文化及意识形态动机和目的,试图揭示民族理论话语与中国少数民族文学外译的实践行为之间的互动机理。
