Abstract: Chinese Literature commenced its cultural journey to the Arab World in the 1930s, and the cultural environment and social factors have influenced its translation and reception in the Arab World. By examining external factors such as cultural context, ideology, and political background of the Arab countries in particular periods, this paper investigates the translation activities of Chinese literature in the Arab World and their features and influences, thus generalizing the tendency of the Arab World's reception of translated Chinese literature, as it has valued the classical Chinese philosophical texts and poems from the very beginning, turned to the translation of Chinese revolutionary literature and political works, and now embraces modern and contemporary Chinese literature.
