引用性理论的跨语境借镜与中西互鉴

Contemporary Progress of Citation and Its Cross-contextual Reference: A Methodological Issue in Literary Research

摘要: 内容发展至一定历史阶段后会产生形式上的束缚感,使变革形式成为推进内容的必然需求。受到这一信念鼓舞的晚近述学文体研究,开始反思学术写作的引用问题。引用性理论不只构成对解构思想的支持,还产生了对学术引用本身的方法论意义。在当代学理中,引用性不是指将片段从原文中析出和利用的写作技术,而是指原文唯有在被引用中得到重复,才使自身成为有别于逻辑范畴的历史范畴,并获得如其所是的独异意义。所以引用恰恰是使原有理路得以在历史中顺利实现的必由之途,其实质是经过了异己性发展的“我注六经”。引用性的这一当代内涵,有助于在跨语境借镜意义上,改进“六经注我”的引用惯习,揭示断章与截搭背后的权力机制,提出今天在中西文明互鉴进程中如何引用的文学研究方法论问题。

Abstract: When content develops to a certain historical stage, it will have a sense of formal constraints, making the change of form an inevitable need to promote content. Inspired by this belief, recent related discussions such as the study of “Academical prose” have begun to reflect on the issue of citation in academic writing. The theory of citation not only provides support for deconstruction but also entails methodological significance for academic citation itself. In contemporary academic theory, citation does not mean merely the writing technique of extracting and utilizing fragments from the original text; rather, it means that the original text attains repetition only through being cited, thereby becoming a historical rather than merely logical category, and acquiring its unique meaning as such. Therefore, quoting is precisely the only way to enable the original logic to be successfully realized in history. In essence, it is the “My Objectivity” that have gone through the development of dissidents. This contemporary connotation of citability helps to improve the shortcomings of the citation tradition of “Subjective Me” in the sense of cross-contextual reference, reveals the power mechanism behind fragmentary appropriation and arbitrary juxtaposition, and raises the issue of literary research methodology on citation in the process of mutual learning between Chinese and Western civilizations today.
