Abstract: Ecocriticism has a broader vision than world literature based on humanism, Eurocentrism, and anthropomorphism. Concerned with the ecological and existential crises, ecocriticism in sf criticizes the claim that everyone is responsible for the ecological crisis in the theory of anthroposcene and reveals that it is the worldwide expansion of capital that caused class oppression, global unevenness, and alienation of nature and laborers. Deploying Marxist ecocritical notions, this paper examines the way Chen Qiufan and other sf writers expose ecological degradation, environmental injustice, and the alienation of nature and human inner nature.
