试论《世说新语》对《徒然草》的影响

摘要: 镰仓时期的日本古典随笔《徒然草》中有众多中国古典的影响元素,但是关于该作品与《世说新语》的受容关系,至今尚未有十分明确的研究结论。本文试从《徒然草》中两处疑似援用《世说新语》故事的出典考证入手,又着重分析兼好品评人物时的理想标准“好人”一词,拟解读出《世说新语》表现的价值观“吉人之辞寡”对《徒然草》的影响。同时还通过对两书的文本比较,指出在美学欣赏上面,兼好提出的“赏花不必盛开、赏月不必满月”与《世说新语》的相通之处。在价值观审美意识方面兼好对《世说新语》的受容还能从江户时期的日本国学大家本居宣长的兼好批判中得到旁证。

Abstract: While Tsurezuregusa, a classic Japanese collection of essays of Kamakura period, was heavily influenced by Chinese classic literature, it is not yet conclusive as to the impact on it by Shi Shuo Xin Yu. The author reconsiders firstly that Tsurezuregusa referred to two stories that were likely from Shi Shuo Xin Yu, and also tries to establish the impact of Shi Shuo Xin Yu on the aesthetics of Yoshida Kenkō, author of Tsurezuregusa, from the proposition that “good people speak few words”. In addition, in terms of aesthetics such as “to enjoy the flowers not necessarily during its blossom and to enjoy the moon not necessarily during its fullness”, there is commonality between Kenkō and the persons of Shi Shuo Xin Yu. It can also be supported by the critique of Kenkō by Motoori Norinaga of Edo period.
