Abstract: Xie Tianzhen's study on medio-translatology is on the basis of his profound thought of the relationship between literary translation and modern Chinese literature. Starting from the theoretical basis of “creative treason”, Xie Tianzhen made a trailblazing exploration of some vital issues such as literary translation, translated literature, the essence of translation, the mission of translation and foreign translation of Chinese culture. And he put forward series of creative ideas which made a substantial contribution to academic study.
