Abstract: In the global information age, especially the computer-based digital technology, the media and the corresponding set of methods and knowledge discourse have penetrated into the knowledge production system represented by higher education, academic research and publishing, which is changing the object of academic research, the relevant knowledge and its edge of legitimacy, and also produced new data tools, resources and the related institutions for humanities research. This is a change that shows the printing knowledge production system based on the materials basis and epistemology of the printing and books is transformed to the digital knowledge production system based on the materials basis and epistemological premise of digital technology and electronic terminals. “Digital humanities” has become an important internal driving force in the production of humanities academic knowledge in the digital age. In the development of digital humanities in the West, it is full of controversy, and how to use the experience of the DH in the West as a reference to find the core issue of digital humanities in China or Chinese studies, and establish the framework and practical path of the localization of digital humanities theory in China has become a fundamental question of China's digital human development exploration in the comparative perspective.
