Abstract: In 1993, English director Peter Brook adapted Oliver Sacks's neuropsychological novel The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, which was his cross-cultural turn to interdisciplinary studies during his 51-year career as a director. He has brought neuropsychology into the field of drama culture, forming a cross-cultural drama text and stage style that cross disciplines, nationalities, races, cultures and media. In this play that premiered in Switzerland, he not only raised the question of why, what and how to “cross”, but also explained that intercultural drama has created the unique value of human spiritual culture and revealed the global aspect of the truth of human drama culture. This paper provides the possibility of method and content for the intercultural drama creation of domestic and foreign drama directors.

摘要: 1993年英国导演彼得·布鲁克改编奥利弗·萨克斯的神经心理学小说《那个错把妻子当成帽子的男人》,这是在他长达51年的导演艺术生涯中进行的跨文化转向——跨学科探索。他把神经心理学科带入戏剧文化领域,构成了一个跨越学科、民族、种族、文化、媒介的跨文化戏剧文本与舞台样式。他在这个首演于瑞士的跨文化戏剧中,不仅提出了为什么“跨”、“跨”什么以及如何“跨”的问题,还阐释了跨文化戏剧创造了人类精神文化中的独特价值,也揭开了人类戏剧文化真相的全球性风貌。本文为国内外戏剧导演的跨文化戏剧创作提供了方法和内容的可能性。
