语文学与达姆罗什的世界文学研究: 传承与超越

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 达姆罗什近年来成了中国比较文学和世界文学研究界一个显赫的人物,世界文学的话题在中国备受关注在很大程度上得助于达姆罗什的影响。语文学对达姆罗什世界文学观的形成起到重要的作用,并深刻影响他的世界文学理论建构与教学实践。这不仅因为“世界文学”这一概念是语文学家歌德提出的,还由于奥尔巴赫和赛义德的语文学思想对他的启示。作为传教士的后代,达姆罗什非常重视世界文学中的伦理道德因素,这也是研究他的世界文学思想所不能忽视的地方。此外,达姆罗什主动参与对不同认知、伦理、道德观念的东方文学的解读和阐释,这是他超越奥尔巴赫之处。

Abstract: Damrosch has become a prominent figure in the field of comparative literature and world literature in China in recent years. To a large extent, the topic of world literature has attracted much attention in China owing to the influence of Damrosch. Philology plays an important role in the formation of Damrosch's world literature view, as well as his teaching practice. It is not only because the concept of “world literature” was put forward by Goethe as a philologist, but also such scholars as Auerbach and Said's views of philology have been an influence on him. As the son of two generations of preachers, Damrosch attaches great importance to the ethical and moral factors in world literature, which cannot be ignored in the study of his thoughts on world literature. In addition, Damrosch actively takes part in decoding and interpreting oriental literature with different cognitive, ethical and moral concepts, and this is where he goes beyond Auerbach.
