反思海外中国学与学术主体性——国外学界对汪晖学术思想的接受与评价

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 30年来,中国学界在全面吸取西方社会科学研究成果和方法的同时,逐步对海外中国学进行了清理和反思,并立足于中国自身的独特历史道路和经验,进行了以自我为主体的理论探索与思考。其中,汪晖取得了突出的成果,引起了国际学界的高度关注和讨论。本文即主要以汪晖20多年来所取得的跨学科研究成果及国外学界对此的评价为中心,综述并总结了这一学术主体性建构的基本框架。它包括对日本历史学界的京都学派和中心-边缘学派的批评,对美国汉学中中国历史研究的反思,对海外中国学研究中的帝国范式和“新清史”的质疑;除此之外,汪晖还挑战了西方社会科学的一些基本范式和范畴。这些卓有成效的反思得到了国际学界的承认,有助于自身学术主体性的建立,对我们当前进行以跨学科为特点、包括比较文学与跨文化研究在内的“新文科”建设,以及自主学术话语体系的建构,也具有重要的参考价值和实践意义。

Abstract: In the past three decades, while absorbing the research achievement and methods of western social sciences, Chinese academia has gradually begun to reflect on the limitations of Western sinology, and carried out self-oriented theoretical exploration and thinking based on China's unique historical path and experience. Among these scholars, Wang Hui, who has attained outstanding achievements, has attracted great attention from the international academic community. This paper summarizes the evaluation of Wang's interdisciplinary research made by international scholars. In all, Wang's research and methodology are of great value for the construction of self-confidence in our own culture and theory.
