世界文学谱系视域下的非洲英语文学

摘要： 英帝国和非洲前殖民地之间共时和历时的多重影响客观上起到了把非洲英语文学纳入世界英语文学谱系的作用。非洲现当代文学在抵抗英帝国的语言殖民、文化殖民、宗教渗透、经济和政治宰治的过程中,与英国和本土语言、文学、政治、历史、文化、宗教等互动,以吸纳、变异、衍化、融合等方式,构建出兼具现代性与传统性、流散性与向心性、世界性与本土性等具有非洲特色的英语文学空间,丰富了世界英语文学谱系,证明了“主流”与“非主流”、“中心”与“边缘”等的相对性,也为中国的非洲文学研究甚至是中国文学创作和国际传播提出了具有挑战性的目标和范式。

Abstract: The multiple synchronic and diachronic influences between the British Empire and the former African colonies played a role in bringing African English literature into the genealogy of world literature in English. In the process of resisting the language colonization, cultural colonization, religious infiltration, economic and political domination of the British Empire, modern and contemporary African literature interacts with both English and local language, literature, politics, history, culture, religion through absorption, variation, evolution and integration to construct the space of English literature with such African characteristics as being both modern and traditional, diasporic and centripetal, cosmopolitan and native. In turn, it enriches the genealogy of world English literature and proves the relativity between “mainstream” and “non-mainstream”, “center” and “periphery”. It also provides challenging targets and paradigms for the study of African literature in China and the production and international communication of Chinese literature.
