摘要： 世界文学谱系是一个庞大而宏观的概念,对其的构建有着多种向度与方法。本文主要选取从语系,即英语语言的特定角度来构建世界文学谱系中的一支——英语文学谱系。本文认为,英语文学谱系的根基是以英语语言为基础的英国文学,而所谓的美国文学、加拿大文学等都是由此根基而发展、壮大起来的。不过,这种模式随着美国、加拿大等国的独立崛起和作家们自主创新能力的提高而被打破了。这些曾经的接受国开始逐步创作出了大批具有自己独特意味的文学产品,并构建起了本民族的文学传统,反过来充实和加强了其根基——英国文学,从而共同谱写和推进了世界文学谱系的发展。
